The reason I was so silent blog and SL-wise lately can be condensed down to a single reflexion:
Do not blindly poke what you do not understand and do not hammer-in things you do not see the need for.
I am working on a sucessor of Artvi.
I included a “fix” made by someone I know which broke compilation on windows. And …
*Sighs* All right. Let’s do this.
I started working on a viewer called “Artvi” a few months ago, based on Nirans Viewer. This project sadly can not continue for the following reasons:
Lack of time.
Lack of skills.
Lack of motivation.
I included some code that I do not have the right to use (Phoenix/Firestorm Parcel Windlight) due to the TPV Policy.
“Artvi” sucks as a viewer
A friend suggested me that I stay away from Arch Linux for a few weeks.
So this goes to one of my followers, Lucy: Hang on.
Apparently some really ugly stuff is going on with Arch right now…
So I moved to a 64-bit Fedora distribution.
There will not be some progress on Artvi for a while, since there’s a LOT of changes happening on Nirans Viewer. Linux …

Me (Miguael Liamano/Tarnix) and Niranv Dean/Amethyst know each other since Kirstens Viewer’s S20. We both got turned down by KirstenLee Cinquetti in a rather childish and unprofessional way, Niran way more than I was.
Since KirstenLee had to stop working on Kirstens Viewer, Niran decided to make his own viewer, including his NiranV Mod for Kirstens Viewer in a viewer of it’s own.…
Well. Niran stopped pushing updates. So I can’t package it, not having the updated code.…
